Yvonne "Yannah" Evans

I create from a place of internal exploration. In my paintings I set an intention which is written on the canvas or paper and various layers are incorporated as lead by the spirit in me to create whatever needs to come out. Many of my paintings are of black women because my art is created in my image. I believe art is healing, life giving, and art is for everyone.
