Samantha Piña

The path to find spiritual enlightenment in one’s self is a symbolic one found in old manuscripts. This piece is inspired by the Ripley scroll that was made in the early 1400s. The serpent is standing upon the world and reaching for the sun which represents the philosophers stone. This journey is a personal one which takes a lot of work and dedication towards the goal. We all have the opportunity to achieve wholeness and a deeper understanding of oneself and the universe. Our internal environment is an important part of how we interact with others and the world around us.
