As a child, I loved to camp with my family. The sounds of my siblings giggling, my dog snoring, and the fire crackling all gave me comfort. Those sounds would fall into the background as I stared up into the vastness of the universe. I longed to dissolve so that I could become. Dissolve like the smoke that wafted up, up, up, up. As an adult, it is harder to find that feeling. The pressures of expectations ground me. Then I am reminded that all I have to do is sit still and look up to be reminded that my problems are nothing when compared to the openness beyond our sky.
