I paint the places and moments that stay with me — those vivid impressions tied to a location. My work often reflects a sense of place, sometimes with a touch of whimsy. My intention is to connect my personal experience of it with viewers. With a background in Landscape Architecture, I’ve always been interested in how environments shape our experiences. As an artist, I use that same lens to highlight what makes a place unique. I’m always exploring how best to express the spirit of a place. Each medium offers a different way to interpret mood and story, and I enjoy experimenting with what fits best for the subject at hand.
For me, making art is very much about the process. It’s the creative puzzle, translating feeling into form — a series of decisions that can lead to something wonderful or push me to rethink and adapt. That tension between control and spontaneity is where growth happens. It’s where curiosity meets discipline, and where something deeply personal emerges.
