Kim Brownell

After trying many different techniques in other mediums. I started working in fabric around the age of 32. Beginning with traditional, I moved on to other types of quilting. I found that I enjoy experimenting with different fabrics, fibers, and embellishments. I especially love working with repurposed textiles and items. My work is very eclectic. I love themes of all kinds, southwest, cities, steampunk, etc. However, my favorites are nature and animals. I also, prefer bright colors. My main goal as an artist is to make people smile and to inspire creativity in others.
