This piece captures a view from Artist’s Point in Lake Tahoe, a favorite place to reflect and reconnect with nature. Using hand-printed gelli plate collage papers, I layered blues, greens, and browns to echo the lake’s crystal waters, forested edges, and rocky shoreline.

Rather than a literal landscape, this work expresses the feeling of being there—the stillness, the clarity, and the quiet beauty. Each torn piece of paper mimics the natural textures and movement of the scene. Through collage, I explore memory and place, hoping to evoke the peace and awe this special location brings me.
