Community is our greatest strength during times of oppression and turmoil. Maintaining individualism while supporting our peers is our way to persevere and grow. The coyote and crow are a play on the famous symbiotic relationship between the wolf and raven. While the raven and wolf require different needs and display opposing behaviors, by supporting one another they increase their odds of survival. I incorporated the coyote and crow as a parallel to these species because they are native to my hometown, and remind me of the community I had to leave behind.
