Vera Wu

 

In my mosaic piece, I wanted to emphasize themes of nature through the different details I chose to highlight. On my walks through my neighborhood, I would see pops of color in the vibrant flowers, the soft greens in the fields and the deep dark colors of the scenic mountains where the sun highlights the details of the surface. I find my inspiration through the clarity of nature and how calm it makes me feel. This is my community, my honeycomb.
