This mosaic piece uses both soft and bold glazes to properly represent my experiences with living in Reno, NV. In this area, we often see the oranges of a sunset, the blues of the tall mountains, the greens of the grasses and the pastels found in the wildflowers that decorate our meadows. The mosaic construction allows for an organic feel which is my interpretation and connection to the Reno area. My hopes are that others will feel of what it is to live in this beautiful and unique community.
