Izzy Schinzing

I have lived in Reno my entire life, this piece is inspired by the scenery around my home. I see the tall cat tails against the blue skies on my walk to school. The cat tails represent a sense of place and pride I feel for my home. I am aware of how lucky I am to grow up in a city full of beauty found in nature’s pockets in Reno. I am aware of the shades of blues, browns and blacks that make up this place I call home.
