Damonte High School Ceramics

 

This collective set of panels are a mix of ceramic techniques done by students at Damonte Ranch High School. Each one a personal view on connection as inspired by the honeycomb design and meaning. They approached the project differently as they too are all very different with unique growth experiences. Their developed style and approach to the project allowed them to explore what it means to be a part of something larger, more complex. They used carving, making their own glazed tiles, breaking and reassembling into mosaics, and glazing for color emphasis, to tell their stories with the medium of clay. -Shannon Schiavone
