This piece is inspired by my love for hiking, plants and the wild beauty of the outdoors. My work brings together the bold color, organic form and layered process of printmaking. Each layer is something I have experienced outside and even in my daily life. Wildflowers on the trail to the way sunlight hits a plant just right. I translate these moments into my prints full of color and energy, reflecting both my personality and my passion for nature. As I am a naturally loud and a joyful person, I bring the same energy into my work, in which I am embracing color as a language of emotion and connection. I inspire to allow those viewing my work to slow down and rediscover the beauty plants and flowers around them bring to life.
