For this honeycomb project, I was drawn to the vibrant colors of the rainforest to bring out the geometrical shape of the canvas. I wanted to explore the animals and plants of the rainforest to show the special relationships between nature. I used acrylic paint to create detail to bring out the beauty of the environment. By use of lines and blending, I contributed to the work to demonstrate feelings of joy. My overall goal was to create unity within the piece by searching for the meaningful ways the earth interacts with each other day to day.
