Thinking about my own cat, I wanted to embody her spirit in my honeycomb project. Using acrylic paint, I brought my painting to life. I was inspired from the tunnel in Coraline for the background, bringing in reds and blues to give my honeycomb a hypnotizing effect. Ultimately, this piece is a reflection of home, mystery, and the beauty in the creatures we share our lives with.
