I chose to use a dandelion for my design because of how they are perceived and their persistence. I personally think dandelions are beautiful in all their stages of life but a lot of people view them as a nuisance and despite attempts to get rid of them, they keep coming back. I think we could all learn from this persistence and refusal to be put down even when others don't approve of you.
