My collage for the Honeycomb Project focused on nature. I chose mostly greens, since so much of our planet relies heavily on the plants and trees that provide us clean air, animal habitats and beauty for all living things. The animals and plants in the piece represent just a miniscule part of the Earth’s flora and fauna, and just like the tiny bees who engineer their amazing hives and honeycombs, each of these animals and plants play a critical role in the balance of the environment that we so desperately need to protect.
