Our students were motivated to create work for a living community art exhibition and looked forward to seeing how their individual pieces would fit together to form a cohesive whole. We completed this project at the end of the school year, and it served as a refreshing culminating assignment. Students were given the freedom to choose their content, with only the project guidelines as limiting factors. This was an excellent opportunity for them to combine the technical skills they had learned throughout the year with their unique vision and voice.
