I wanted this project to represent the passion of an artist. In order to suggest this theme through an image, I balanced the monotone colors of black gray and white so that the eye would be drawn to the passion of the picture: the flames curling from the mouth of the dragon. Fire has found countless different meanings in hundreds of different cultures. Destruction. Wisdom. Power. Passion. Passion is what drives an artist, a person; it is what breathes color in to an otherwise monotone world.
