Creating photographs please my soul and contributes to the happiness in my life. Of course the palette of potential photographs one can pursue is vast and never-ending. Personally I prefer to look beyond the expected view. How does the light and shadow interplay with each other? How does an interesting foreground play visually with the background? Of course my last consideration is whether the photograph will speak to a viewer and myself as a black and white print. Many times I come home with only one photograph. That is perfectly okay, since it is the one that completely satisfies my soul.
