This piece is a representation of one side of myself. I love tattoos so I wanted to do a piece that was in a tattoo style. I used similar shading techniques that are commonly used in tattooing to create the look I wanted. I am a big fan of tattoos and alternative subcultures in general so I wanted this piece to represent that side of me. I also love birds and I love drawing skulls so I chose a skull embedded in roses and thorns with a crow standing on top of the skull. I did a very popular tattoo style and setup on this piece to give it that feel of a tattoo. I used this piece to be a representation of me, my past, and hopefully my future.
