This project represents family values and connection to the ancestors. The baobab tree has always represented those aspects in the African culture.
I have always admired the tree in general because of how it is grounded in the earth and as it grows it branches out and develops many off-springs represented as leaves. I believe we as humans just as the tree are all connected to the earth.
