Donna Nelson

 

As a resident and mixed media artist of Wellington, Nevada, I began creating mosaic birdbaths from broken dish shards, and in 2014 collaborated with an artist and created art from re-purposed tin cans and other items discarded on the land. We wrote a book about the project entitled Desert Born, finding magic in the ordinary. I continue to work with inspirational artist and teacher Ronda Eden and have created monotype prints. My art is exhibited at the Virginia City Gallery of the West.
