We created two honeycomb pieces using a knitted background in a hexagonal pattern to represent a honeycomb and cracks in the playa earth. Bees made from felted wool and resin wings are attached to the honeycomb background and fairy shrimp made of cast resin are attached to the playa earth background. We are celebrating insect communities in our region.
