This series is dedicated to my mother and her motherland. As a Filipino-American in the diaspora, I have always longed to know what would be like in my mother's native land of the Philippines, specifically the Bikol region. After conversations with my mother about life in the province, I was inspired to create landscapes and replicate textiles that represent her culture.
