"For Spencer Chicken Run", was inspired by Spencer, the lineman and 3 chickens that happened to be checking out a breaker box in Yuba City, CA. I saw them once while visiting the city known for its wild chickens roaming the streets. I immediately connected that memory with Spencer’s story: Spencer and his childhood pets Zeus and Malinky. 

This mosaic is inspired by some of my creative drawings based on my "Terminus" collection. The end of days ideas came from watching “The Walking Dead” in 2014. The main characters in the show had been separated and were all traveling on different paths. We follow along, watching them in their struggle to find each other, each one discovering a sign that points to Terminus, “Sanctuary for all. Community for all. Those who arrive survive.” It was meant to be a sanctuary in an apocalyptic world, yet we discover together that it isn’t.
