April Gratrix
These pieces remind me of an early study for Adobe Photoshop: gradients, planes of color, and intersecting lines which generate the transition from black to white images. They also feature geometric shapes, stippling, mark making and patterns. All of these designs make up my contemporary landscape studies of the Lake Tahoe basin. They are not a continuous image, but belong together as part of the Honeycomb Project in that they represent a whole without being the same.
