This project reflects the intricate, interconnected relationship I share with my hedgehog, an often overlooked creature whose quiet, purposeful movements inspire my work. The honeycomb structure symbolizes both the efficiency of nature and the delicate balance between individuality and community. Through this piece, I aim to draw attention to the quiet world of my hedgehog, inviting the viewer to explore a space where simplicity, symmetry, and a natural sense of order take center stage. The work also incorporates the winter season, the time when my hedgehog is most active. This seasonal focus highlights the rhythm and cycles of life, emphasizing how even in stillness, there is movement and growth. In crafting this project, I seek to evoke a deeper connection to the small, often unseen lives around us, reminding us of the beauty found in simplicity and quiet observation.
